IKENNA – the ultimate Whitney Houston double – sings live alongside their 4 or 5-piece band, performing the songs of the great soul diva. In his Whitney Houston Tribute Show, Berlin-based travesty star IKENNA pays homage to the soul diva, who is considered one of the greatest voices of all time. Even today, Whitney Houston’s ballads remain some of the most expressive and demanding in the world. Who doesn’t remember songs like „I will always love you“ or „I have nothing“? Preserving this memory is IKENNA’s goal. „What could be more beautiful than contributing to keeping my greatest idol alive? Celebrating Whitney is what I want, is what I do,“ says the travesty star.

In addition to Whitney Houston’s songs, the audience can also expect the most beautiful hits from great pop divas like Barbra Streisand, Anastacia, and Sade. IKENNA was fascinated by the soul diva like no other from the very first moment. They took on the challenge of doubling the singing idol and portraying a perfect woman as a man. After studying Houston’s gestures and looks for a long time, the first performances took place in 1989. Then, the success story began.

IKENNA’s repertoire includes all of the soul diva’s songs. With their live program, they have graced concert stages around the world – Bangkok, Las Vegas, New York, Hong Kong, and Paris – and designers tailor dazzling costumes specifically for them.
